I was charged $833.00 for a brake half-job. The only thing they did was replace 4 rotors and 4 brake pads. I had 3 other estimates, and all of the quoted me basically the same price. I could have paid them half the cost of what Brake Check charged me at 23900 Highway 290, Cypress store. The Rep. is named is Curtis Carr. He also named other things needed for my car, which is also relatively higher than normal costs at the other 3 places I had gotten estimates. They didn't even bleed the brakes, in which is supposed to be included in the changing of the rotors and pads. I'm considering on seeking more info about what could be done as getting a refund for an incomplete job. He said that I need 2 rear shocks and 2 front struts, that costs is &1,500.00. Other places said it would only cost $800.00 for the entire job. I think Curtis Carr is ripping customers off. Never again.
