Very bad information and help to the elderly

I am a 65 year old lady I changed my address at the post office. I explained to the girl dealing with me that I have moved and my package went to my old address and it was very difficult to retrieve same form the people at the old address. I explained to her I have another package coming and I need to have the package sent to my new address. She advised me to do an address on change so on March 21/20 I did change my address as she advised so the item will be sent to my new address. I paid $69.00 to change my address. On April 15/20 I tracked my item and noticed it went to my old address. I called Canada Post and was told I have to do a ticket which I did (ticket#13545****) * week later I never heard from Canada Post so I call only to be told letters are sent to the new address but packages will always be sent to the old address. I would think they would have sent the package to the post office closest to me with and leave a note that my item is at the post office. Canada post took not responsibility. At the end I fed Canada Post $69.00 and I paid for my item $59.60. All was lost as Canada Post has not trained their staff as I explained about the package and she never told of about the package will not be sent to my new address. I will not be using Canada Post as they are too many more efficient and reliable sours for my shipping needs. But Canada Post is always looking for more money but their service to customers is very s.ity. Very disappointed that Canada Post saw it to their advantage to rip off a 65 year old lady and had no reactions of what they did: poop: The elderly is not savvy in computers and it did not help by Canada Post saying it is all on the web you should have read the web. User's recommendation: The elderly need to be given more respect by these young people who is service them.
