Verizon lied, cheated, and stole

Original review updated by user Aug 14, 2021 A month ago I wanted to split a two line unlimited plan. I was told by Verizon agent no problem we are "grandfathered". I was told everything would remain the same price and with unlimited service, so I split the two lines. The next day we received a new invoices for the two lines that were almost double in price. I called Verizon and complained only to be told there was nothing they could do for us. I called back and demanded to reverse the service back to the original plan only to be told we are locked up for 30 days. After 15 + hours on the phone and a visit to Verizon store, even Corporate phone calls and letters, Verizon would not help. I finally got a credit on my bill so I switched carriers. Verizon customer service and retention is the worst. User's recommendation: Run don't walk from Verizon.
