Verizon card

I purchased a Verizon prepaid card from a local grocery store not knowing that it cannot be used to purchase Verizon products. The Verizon representative unknowingly scratched the back of the card before determining that the card could not be used. Can I get reimbursement or apply to another type of card that ai will be able to use? Thanks, Leslyn Jones-Petitt User's recommendation: Don’t buy Verizon prepaid cards unless you have a prepaid phone. Verizon doesn’t understand it’s use nor the store that sells them.
