Vaccuum broke after three months

The vacuum broke in the top and the bottom. I bought this vacuum less than 6 months ago. I haven't used it for more than 5 minutes a week since I got it (I only have a little carpet to vacuum). Unfortunately, I don't have the receipt anymore but will like the company to reimburse me. User's recommendation: Save your receipt!!!
