Useless customer service.
I have a cleaning business. There are times my clients write the wrong day on my checks, and rightly so the bank will not allow me to deposit said check. I wrote a check for a specific day, clearly written on my check. My bank allowed the deposit to occur five days earlier than the date on my check. I call customer service and explain the issue. The lady says, "the check isn't the issue, it's your pending transactions that are the issue." Seriously? I explained that if the bank tellers did their job and refused to deposit the check with the clearly written date on it early, I wouldn't have an overdraft issue all my pending transactions would be perfectly covered because I am a responsible individual who keeps track of her funds. That I am not allowed to deposit checks earlier than the date written on my clients checks, which makes it a bank policy, but when one of the tellers does it, all the sudden it isn't your fault? I informed her that it was the fact that said check was cashed earlier than the written date is the reason I am overdrawn. I didnt make the mistake. I made sure to write the check for the exact time my funds would be available for that specific check. I did my job, you the bank failed at yours. Now I get to take time off work to go into the bank and deal with it. Thanks. That's great. You suck.
