Used equipment

I purchased a pump from camper parts world on april 17th 2018. It came used and didnt work when hooked up. Tried to contact customer "service" but was passed off to rv parts world. They passed me back to camper parts who said call the manufacturer. Manufacturer wants me to pay shipping costs etc and takes time
