Unwillingness to return defective merchandise and customer service stopped answering my messages

I purchased flatware from PB and in less than 3 months the black finish became tarnished, making the product look like garbage. When I reached out, I was told they wouldn't do anything for me and lied about the problem in their communication by calling this a performance issue. I reached out again, and got the same answer. I reached out again and have been ignored. In fact, I tried to call this company for a week but could never get through. It took 7 days to get an email back, and after asking for further clarification of their willingness to stand by their products and demanding this be moved up the chain I have not heard from anyone. It's been 3 days since that happened. I didn't even ask that the refund me for half of the 8 place settings I have, because it was a gift. And they still won't do anything for me. User's recommendation: Do not buy anything from this company. Ever.
