Unsafe Food Handling practices

On 6/24/2020, I went through the Pollo Tropical drive through in Kissimmee Fl. The food handler was not wearing gloves and her face mask was improperly worn. Her nose was entirely exposed and not covered by her mask. Kissimmee has a mandatory face mask order in place, and considering that the cases of COVID-19 are increasing at an exponential rate, this lack of safety precaution showed a complete lack of training, a breakdown in supervision, and a lack of public health concern on the part of the company and the employee. Upon leaving, I threw my food away. The company has not yet responded to my complaint regarding this visit. I made a subsequent visit on 6/30/2020 and found that the staff was not wearing face masks prior to opening the store. Once they officially opened, masks were worn, but the food handler for my order was wearing only one glove, while holding the other glove in her exposed hand that was handling money, food, and touching her face. I told her that she needed to wear a glove on both hands upon leaving, and again I threw my food away. I won't be making a third visit as this store clearly has a lack of training, supervision, and concern about the spread of COVID-19 at a time when Florida daily reaches a new record high number of cases.
