Unreliable bus service

My bad experience with this company occurred 1 1/2 weeks ago.I was scheduled to take an overnight bus from Wilson, NC to NYC at 1150pm. I arrived at a gas station around 11:20pm where it is supposed to pick me up. Fifteen minutes passed, there is still no bus visible. I decided to call the number printed on my ticket. The person who answered really didn’t speak English. After asking her where the bus was, she answered with 2 words: traffic and Atlanta. Eventually, we found out that the bus will not be coming and that the next one will around 2am. There was no communication at all regarding any changes on the bus schedule. I didn’t receive any email or phone calls about the no show incident. I had a connecting bus in NYC the following day and so this delay messed up my travel plans. Eventually, I arrived at my destination. The follow day, I called the gotobus costumer service and asked for a refund because the bus did not show up. At first, the representative was not willing to give me the refund but instead suggested to reschedule for another bus service. The bus not showing up should be an enough reason to give me a refund. But I had to keep persuading the person and eventually he gave me a refund. I would advice to travelers NOT to use gotobus. It is unreliable and offers unprofessional costumer service.
