Booked our vehicle to be shipped from Massachusetts to Boca Raton, Florida. Signed contract and shared credit card. From there on, a series of unprofessional mishaps took place, the straw that broke the camel’s back was an incorrect day for auto pickup which would have occurred after we left for airport which did not fit into our window of opportunity. I explained this to our fast talking and rude representative who informed me that she would obtain another driver for us and call us back. At this point, we verbally canceled the agreement, she tried to talk over and bully me. I felt intimidated. The credit card was run and a charge of $225 stands against the card. I called the credit card company to protest the reservation fee and was told it had not yet posted, at which time we could lodge a formal inquiry. I tried to call company eight or nine times and was being given the run around until I mentioned I was going to post a negative searing statement on social media. Finally, I received a call back from Jeanine, a manager, and the call quickly deteriorated as she became angry and aggressive. Telling me that the deposit was non refundable because we had been assigned a driver. I tried to correct her and tell her that the driver was pulled due to time constraints and there was no driver, do technically they could refund the money. She told me that since I called Am Ex, she was not doing anything and abruptly hung up. Great customer service skills.
