United Group Services waste management company is completely terrible, doesn't care about their customers and flat out LIES to you. Our township subcontracts to a few different waste management companies, and we chose United Group. They randomly would stop service on us, and we would have to call and they would apologize for the mix-up and service would resume. A few months ago service stopped and we called and called and called for three weeks without getting any answer or call-backs. In the meantime, our garbage piled up and we finally contracted with another company. Finally after a month and a few days from our initial call, we heard back from them. They apologized, gave us an excuse about a computer glitch that didn't register our last payment, and begged us not to overreact and file a complaint with the township and the BBB (too late, we did that after a month of no results from us calling and writing the company). They promised a full refund of our last payment, which we never received. It has now been 3 months since they initially stopped our service and guess who is still not answering their phones or returning our phone calls. If you live in Horsham, PA or any other township that contracts with United Group Services, DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE A RIP-OFF! We are much happier with another company that provides more services, has better customer service, and is cheaper than UGS.
