Unit leakes

I have a new question. I clean my unit out like it says to do on a weekly basis for the first time. So I was getting it ready for the morning news and overnight the water container I filled up leak all over the floor. I'm not sure why that happened. Would a it be bad? User's recommendation: It's still a good product.
