Unhappy with protection

I did buy platinum protection plan on a lazy chair when I called and complain that the chair start to peel off I was told that the inspector will come .yes the inspector came and took some pictures and told us the chair cant be repaired and we will get a call from them . On July 9 2020 we received a call from a person that said that if the chair will have stains or cuts on for any reason thats ok but not manufactured defective problem this is unheard how Raymond and Flanigan treats the customers Thats means dont buy anything and get protection from them because Raymond and Flanigan will not help you.
