Update by user Oct 27, 2018 So heres an update since I weote this review. Maidstone refuses to acknowledge or contact me about any wrongdoing on their part. I went with Progressive Insurance for my auro policy through my beoker. My broker waived his fee because of the dirty trick Maidstone played on me. Progressive is cheaper more competant and way mire successful. Maidstone incorrectly reported false information to Depetment if Motir Vehicles with wron start and cancellation dates and almost got my license and registration suspended ehen it was only one day lapse caused by them They reported I was cancelled 6 months ago in error. Very incompetant. I had brokwr fix the issue no suspension no fine. I may look into hiring an Attorney to sue these *** for what they caused me stay clesr away from Maidstone Original review posted by user Sep 27, 2018 I was a loyal customer for years thru my broker. On September 15 my broker had me pay $343.00 which includes a broker fee of $150.00. I paid it and on September 26 these *** cancelled via mail stating I underpaid and they refuse to reinstate me. Mind you even if that was true its only $22.50 short. However they lied to my broker and said they have no record of ever telling them a lesser amount. They are the worst Insurance company do not use them. The NY State Insurance board needs to hear about this.
