Unclear billing cycles, unhelpful customer service

Overall call signal and service was not any improvement over other carriers. Google FI lures customers in with promos, then makes their billing cycles very unclear by having their payment billing cycle dates generating in a different range than your actual plan data usage dates. Trying to cancel before your next billing cycle and promotion ends and significant rate increase begins is thus equally unclear, and, surprise! -Once you do cancel, Google apparently doesn't actually close your account noting you "might" continue to receive charges for up to 2 more billing cycles, and holding your payment information hostage. This is After you have told them, and they have acknowledged that your account has been closed. Absolutely ridiculous. Customer service is unhelpful, unwilling to discuss inconsistencies in their billing and service. User's recommendation: Would not recommend Google FI as a phone service.
