No Submitted by: David Stratton In the aftermath of Hurricane IKE, my car was totalled. I negotiated with Clear Lake Nissan to buy a new Nissan Frontier.. During the entire process we spoke of a quoted figure, ie $22, 341 plus Texas tax title and licence. I specifically asked several times if there were other charges, and was told NO. We closed in a hurry due to a conference call deadline at my wifes employer. When I had a chance to review the closing statement I found a charge for " PRO-PACK" for 487.51..which I had initialed due to the rush. This charge had never been mentioned. I called the general manager, OC Brooks, explained the situation and he gave me his word that he would write a check, the moment I could prove my check for payment had cleared...My check cleared, I presented him with a copy, and have not been able to reach him, or have call returned since...Bottom Line, Clear Lake Nissan has stolen $487.51 of my money . Do business with them at your own risk!!!
