I purchased my first American 1oz. Gold Eagle from the mint expecting it to be packed securely in a tamperproof box secured inside with the usual styrofoam I received a large box with tape sealing only the top box cover. I could hear movement within as I grabbed the box. What I thought moving around inside the box was the inner sealed tamperproof box, well to my surprise it was the the Gold Coin moving freely in the small display box. The display box cover was not on the box must have got separated during transit? I am unable to submit this coin for grading and receive a first Release/Early Release designation label due to their handling of this expensive purchase which should have been packed securely and safe in the usual tamper proof box. User's recommendation: Complaints fall on deaf ears *Buyer Beware.
