I needed a 7 inch bodum glass. I had to buy a 6 inch. Local store couldn't help because Bodum requires too high an order for them!. I have a lovely silver frame for my Bodum coffee press!. It makes great coffee and I love it:. Occasionally I need to replace the glass!. This time I went to a local kitchen store/. Because Bodum requires retail dealers to buy so much, I was unable to deal locally, . So I went on the internet.. The glass available on the internet was wrong for my frame. So I had to get a smaller - 6" rather than 7"- which makes less coffee and is a bit tippy
