I have the dark band going up the left side of the screen that's a well documented issue. I spoke to CS. They offered a partial refund which is actually a credit given I have to use it on the Samsung website to purchase another Samsung product. This TV is less than three years old! To add insult to injury, the CS rep NEVER told me the unit would have to be picked up by Samsung before the PARTIAL credit was issued. I was told it just had to be approved and then "don't dispose of the unit. They may or may not want it back." So now, I can't order a replacement for this defective unit until Samsung decides to get around to picking it up and then wait some more for them to process that "return." Utterly unacceptable for a fairly new product with a known defect. I have never been so disappointed in a company. Samsung needs to take responsibility for their manufacturing mistake and not punish the consumer.
