Avendale on Preston apartment homes with its new management is the worse experience in my life. I have been a resident in these apartments for about 5 months, and since day one I have started experiencing all sorts of terrible customer service and money rip-offs. To picture how the situation looks is by starting from the main office, as the main office has only one table and only one person available to help where the apartments consider being huge and has thousands of residents. So if there is a situation that makes you present in the office it requires at least 20 minutes to be served. Just imagine if you are coming from a lunch break and you need to pickup a shipment, drop a check, or talk to anyone in the office which usually takes 1 minute, and then you wait for half an hour; and this if you are lucky to find someone to serve you. Apartments in general are old and have all kind of problems where the price of the apartments is high for no reason, beside the hidden fees that will never disclose to you when you sign the lease. In case of calling the office you will never find anyone to answer you always directed to an automated system, and finally after going through the unintelligent menu selection in about 5 minutes then you got to leave a voice mail. In case of a need for a repair then good luck seeing technicians coming to fix the issue, it could take months, at the end they show up in the undesired time. One of the incident happened today, I went to the office to pickup a shipment I have purchased from the internet as a gift and had to send it the same day in order to be delivered on time to the person, but unfortunately the office was closed without any prior notice and all the management members where sitting in the lobby claiming an annual meeting “improving Customer Service” with a little note on the door that barely anyone can see; it says Office is Closed, while I was standing by the office holding the pickup slip no one had the honor and bothered to get the door, so I had to leave and forget about the gift. I as being honest I do not encourage any new residents to rent in this business, you will never get a trusted word from them, nor customer service, and at the end you will find your self paying too much for such place and service.
