On December 14th I contacted Credit Acceptance, I told them then that I had complications and I would not be able to make the Dec. 19th 2018 payment. I would make the payment a double payment in January 2019. I have been with them since June 0f 2017. I have never been late nor missed a payment on my truck. I called on the 11TH of January Friday, In regards to my phone call on the 14th the lady says they have no record of me calling them. When I called on the 11th Jan. I told her I would be making the payment on the 18th of January 2019. No problem she said...and that was the end of the conversation. Today January 17th 2019 I talked to my home loan officer I am a Veteran trying to purchase a home through Veterans United home loans. The loan officer Scott said that credit acceptance reported me 30 days late which tanked my credit score by 120 points. Like I said on Dec 14 the lady said there would be no problem...I said are you sure? I said I did not want a bad review or my score to go down because it would hinder and possibly stop my home loan. Again she assured me No problem. When Scott let me know this problem I immediately called credit acceptance, customer service was very rude and nasty to me and said there was nothing they could do per company policy I asked to speak to a supervisor I was on hold for 30 minutes. I got Dave a customer service employee and I asked for his employee number.. he told me his employee number was DP7. I asked him to transfer me to a supervisor I got a supervisor named Jenae. She says that's company policy...all she said was you can dipspute it, which will take 30 days...much to long to correct this problem because we are due to close on this home in a month. I then asked to talk to a Manager..they said they are all in a meeting (probably a three martini lunch) that they would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours.. I asked how certain would they get back to me...and she said they would tell me the same thing company policy..I asked them to remove the negatory remark on my credit report plain and simple they could say they made an error and everything would be back to like it was. Jenea said there was no certainty that they would call back and or they would call at their earliest convenience. So I called corporate office in Southfield Michigan...I found the number of the CEO of credit acceptance which is Bret Robert...1 24*-353-****. extension 4423. He was not in so I left two voice mails. Then I talked to an Asia Sanchez between her and her supervisor..they contacted Chirs Kies to have him look into removing the negative remark on my credit score, and she said they would get it done. An hour later I get a phone call from the customer service manager Carlos and said his eployee number was 2288. and he said there was nothing he could do in other words one man pawned it over to another man and nothing has been done...After the fact that they Told me they Could. The loan officer at Veterans home loan said If they 'Credit Acceptance' had any integrity about them any compassion for the fellow man they could simply call experian and say they made an error in their report. There is no federal state man date that says they can not do that.. Credit acceptance does not want to do it...because they are lazy, rude, obknoxious , lack of compassion.,two faced forked tongue snakes in the grass. Due to the 600th negative review about CREDIT ACCEPTANCE and only one positive Run dont walk run don't look back do not do business with this company...If you need transportaion get a bike,,a tractor..a horse...but do not make deals with them they are liars and thieves !!!! Someone needs to take them down a notch. Someone needs to TRAIN the employees on how to answer a phone..how to talk to the public. A grade school kid could do a better job.!!!! I am so disappointed in them so bewildered so tired of incoptent people.So stressed out I am having chest pains and ,my lady wants to take me to the hospital. My lady said that if anything determental happens to me she will own credit acceptance. Veterans nor civilians should not be treated like this company has treated me or as I see in the reviwes here other people. We are all hard working men and women that deserve a lot more consideration and respect because the men and women that do call and try to form some type of resolution are just being lied to and disrepected big time. What in the world has some of the institutions of America come to? I say replace those people with hard working people that have compassion and respect and honor and know how to Talk to the public. Credit Acceptance you have a loooong road to *** and a short time to get there.
