Thrillist is only useful if you are a Midwesterner with a Midwesterner's racist, reactionary views. If you are not a Midwestern honky then you won't find them remotely funny or useful in any way when planning a trip. Every bit of advice they have to give is based on an assumption that Midwestern white people are superior and everybody who is not Midwestern or white is only trying to achieve their inborn greatness. Make no mistake, they may pretend to be doing you a favor, but their opinions are couched in the firm belief that only honky culture from the cold armpit of America counts.
