Trying to Collect Funds Already Paid

1

On Tuesday, February 8, 2011, man named Steven Johnson called me and stated that he represented the Affidavit Federal Department. He informed me that he was calling to collect unpaid funds from a payday loan that I had not paid back from US Cash Advance. I informed him that I had never had a payday loan from US Cash Advance. He then stated that US Cash Advance was a "parent" internet loan company and that they were seeking payment because I had not repaid my loan within a 21 day window. I then informed Steve Johnson that I had received a loan from DJR Group, LLC on December 17, 2010 and repaid the loan on January 6, 2011, which was approximately 21 days after the loan was deposited into my account. He then informed me that the amount in question ($235) was owed for interest. I explained that I originally had a $250 loan and that when I repaid the funds on January 6, 2011, that I also paid the $75 finance charge. I explained that I physically called into the company and they informed me that these were the only fees that needed to be paid. He then began raising his voice with me and would over talk me every time I attempted to speak. He stated that the call was being monitored. Finally I got so frustrated that I was just willing to pay it because it made it seem as if I was going to have a criminal record and that if I wanted to settle in court, that it would cost me approximately $1, 645. He then asked about the amount of payment that I could make today (2/8/2011) and I stated that I could pay $20. He put me on hold for half of a second, came back to the phone and stated that I needed to pay at least $50. I explained that I did not have $50 on my card and that I could make the $ 50 payment on 2/9/2011 because the bank was already closed and because I was on my way to school. He then retracted his statement and said that the $50 payment would not go through on my card and that I had to pay a minimum of $100 if I wanted to use my card. When I told him that I would make a payment on 2/9/2011 in a specified location (Walgreens, 7-11, CVS) that he had provided me with, by noon on that date, he informed me that I was trying to make a negotiation, started yelling at me, told me to take it up in court, and hung up the phone on me. When I called back the number in which he had called me from, he answered by saying "how may I help you." We disagreed on information again, and he hung up on me again. When I called back the last time, he answered by saying "what can I do for you now, " which insinuated to me that he has caller ID. At no point did Mr. Johnson ever answer the phone by saying Affidavit Federal Department. In addition, he informed me that my reference number is MI6232. PLEASE HELP ME.
