Tried to cancel. Horrible customer service. Going on three months and have not received my prorated refund.

I simply wanted to cancel the warranty plan. Regardless of what reason I had, it was my right to cancel. I was chastised for my decision. The customer rep kept repeating the same mantra over and over; " cars are built to break down......... I kind of got caught off guard when I purchased this extended warranty. When applying for a car loan, all of your information goes to all three credit reporting agencies. These extended warranty businesses pay the reporting agencies for information on your car purchase. Shortly after I purchased my car, I started to get phone calls, e-mails, etc. from these businesses. It was constant. Having not purchased a car in 15 years, I thought that this was some sort of new thing dealerships provide you. It's a real scam.
