Purchased a top of the line Trane heating and A/C system 2 /20/10.Was told I had a 10yr.warranty and found out today 9/10/18 when the system failed and dumped a mess of water in my finished basement that it was only for 5yrs.as registered per installer.I paid $10,441.00 for the system that only lasted 8yrs.My last heating system lasted 19yrs and was builders grade.I called Trane and installer and they will do nothing.I called Nationwide to see if they can help.They have an adjuster coming out.Good luck to me right.I'm 65yrs old on a fixed income and no help.I'm told the repairs will be about $2500.00 to 3,000.00.I have a service contract on the system for every 6m .I don't recommend Trane at all!!!!
