First Data now Bank Corp South are trained liars. The latest scam to get good ratings is to make empty promises that will be fulfilled at a future date. They immediately send out a survey to see if the issue is resolved. Unsuspecting merchant thinks that the issue IS resolved, but instead the refund/ rate reduction/etc is never given. Another call results in an even BIGGER promise for all of your trouble and yet another survey is sent(within seconds of call ending) but if you wait for the promised result(which never comes) to answer the survey it has expired. This unconscionable practice ensures that only positive reviews will be made unless the merchant responds negatively before allowing the required time for expected refund/rate reduction to take place. The first promise THIS year was for rate reduction, to take place in 30 days. It did not materialize, in fact the First Data /Bancorpsouth representative last spoken to said that the promised rate had been phased out and the previous associate was misinformed. I was promised a statement credit of $300 in 3-5 days for the mistake and a NEW flat rate program. Not only did NEITHER the refund OR the flat rate program take place, but I was charged and even HIGHER rate than previously. When I responded negatively to the latest survey without waiting for yet ANOTHER refund promise they send another email saying that it would be 7 days now until the refund and ANOTHER survey.
