Tracker boats soft metal

I bought a Tracker boat 16 ft Pro Guide, took it to Canada, scraped a rock, no hard collision, rock scraped a weld on back of boat, opened up like a cheap pop can, had to quickly get it out of the water, or I would have sunk. I sent photo's to Tracker dealer, they denied claim, even though there weld gave way, don't ever buy a Tracker boat.
