Was given qwote for my daughter to be insured on my vehicle for 28 days,was given refrance number and was told price.was then advised to call back as problem with there computer and i could pay when i called back.in the mean time i told my daughter that she could go out driving on her 17th birthday.i rang back for the third time and was on phone for 45 minutes to firstly be told that the job i do (mum) was gerneric and didnt mach there job descriptions ,then i was told that they will not insure my daughter untill she has been driving for at least two years..why was i not told this upon my first telephone call,why was i given refrance number and told to call back to make payment if this was not possible.i feel upset as i have been lied to by insurance and now have to tell my daughter she cant have birthday present which was being able to go out driving,not only do i feel a let down as a parent,but also let down by the insurance company who have lied to me with there empty promise
