Update by user Jan 31, 2021 nothig further to say exccept that mydeal should not be used at all Original review posted by user Jan 31, 2021 on 26.12.20 i attempted to order a coffee machine from my deal because of their unsatisfactory buying procedures my deal i ended up ordering three machines because of holiday period mydeal refused to reply to emailws since 26.12.20 i have contacted mydeal numerous times to attempt to correct the matter but although many replies received none address my problem at all they even open another case no for each email received and refuse to co ordinate these case numbers i have also emailed the seller panatech many times but have never received a reply neither company will supply a phone number to assist during email exchange mydeal insist i have bought a cosmetic item [totally incorrect] and am contacting the wrong seller which shows the appalling state of their record keeping they refuse to refund me my money and state if they do so they will deduct freight cost of returning these very large items plus a handling fee [presumably their profit] i quite rightly refuse to accept this without a doubt they are the worst company i have dealt with in last few years and i would advise other potential purchasers not to use them at all but stay with kogan who have proper procedures in place to handle matters like this plus kogan goods are far better quality and are generally cheaper a simple example is that if warranty is required on an item bought and both mydeal and seller refuse to be contacted where can the purchaser turn to for help i have lodged a detailed complaint with vict consumer affairs which i believe will be acted on i have also lodged a one star google review on panatechs website highlighting the appalling lack of help from mydeal User's recommendation: i firmly advise any future customers not to use them at all for reasons set out above but stay with the reliable and respected kogan.
