Took 4 trips to fix a microwave!!!!!
My microwave (a high-end Kitchen-Aid) about 3 months out of warranty went on the blink in mid-Nov. The digital lights went out on the display panel. It would not come on. I called Mr. Appliance (will never do again). They say they park on the street and will walk to the house; (this didn't happen). The technician (loose definition) decided to replace the entire control panel rather than trouble shoot the problem. A replacement part for $450 plus was ordered and arrived about a week later; different color (black not chrome). It was installed and supposedly worked but when I arrived home same problem. Another technician came out and I was told that we should not have ordered the control panel and that they would send it back. It was another problem. The company would refund me the difference in the correct parts vs. the $450 originally charged. Problem still existed for 2 more visits and 3 more weeks. I was finally told that the owner had to advise the technicians how to fix it......a simple fix. It was fixed, but I was never given any sort of "refund in parts" This company comes appearance-wise as knowing what there doing, but they don't. Will never ever do business with them again. I got ripped off!
