I needed architectural drawings to put an extension on my house. Home Advisors top recommendation was Weaver Architecture & Design. One year and 2 days I got the final drawings. Numerous calls from my contractor and myself. Original quote was for $2,000.00 for drawings and filing for building permit. Had to specifically ask for completed drawings needed for township to get the permit. Those plans were wrong. She had the new extension over-lapping the existing garage 4 ft. Two objects cannot occupy the same space. Then she charged me another $750.00 to correct her mistake. We did decide to shrink the size of the addition to make it easier to tie into the hour and garage. So I could partially understand asking for more money, but with the amount of time and problems she created to that point. She should have completed her job as committed. to. I would never use them again.
