To expose false advertising

Yesterday I received two emails from Dillard's. The first informing my that an item I placed in my shopping cart was still available. The second was to let me know that they were having a 40% off sale of their "entire stock permanently reduced merchandise". I went to the website and looked for my item and could not find it. I called them and they informed me that their term "PERMENTLY REDUCED" did not mean their ENTIRE STOCK (which I interpreted it to mean), it only meant certain items they already reduced anyway. I believe this is false advertising. User's recommendation: Don't shop with them.
