To change Passenger name on the flight

I need to change name on ticket before sat because the other person is sick and the trip is Saturday leaving St. Louis going to Go ahead Arizona through the Caesars rewards program and they told me I could change it up to 24 hours before we leave but I just need to make sure that they add the new person and take the old person off
