Threats made to my safety in front of my daughter, also lack of CDC requirements

1

I need someone to contact me about an absolutely ridiculous altercation with a very foolish employee who is clearly a liability to your company. As in, I'm literally considering a lawsuit, and just waiting to hear back from my lawyer who is out of town until Monday apparently. I spent 30-45 minutes waiting to get in. They closed in 15 minutes. No worries I expected it. I walk almost directly to the isle I need to go down, which is quite small... Maybe 3 feet wide at best. I patiently look at the very end and wait for an employee to leave, so I can go where I need to. For some reason he continues towards me and my young daughter, closer and closer, straightening keyboards. Until he is nearly TOUCHING ME! I say hey can you give us some room please. He says he needs to do his work. I say, man, I waited 45 minutes to get in here and you can do that later. He says, I need to get this done before I can go home so I can't do it later. I said I need a specific keyboard and it's down there. (It was down there) He points me to the end of the isle. (So he can straighten the keyboard where me and my kid was real quick.) I go to the end of the isle and ask for a manager and instead I get another employee to come look at this ridiculous situation and tell this stubborn mule to move so I can STAY WITHIN THE GUIDLINES OF THE CDC! I HAVE A 7 YEAR OLD GIRL WITH ME FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! He tells him to move, but the guy just postures and is defiant still. I finally get down the right end of the isle where it is, grab it, then with him posturing and threateningly behind his larger employee buddy, whom literally said, we don't need this to get physical. I looked up to figure out what he meant and see this employee behind him acting like he wants to fight me, at which time I literally chuckled and walked off. Then I'm mocked to my back?!?! In front of other customers and employees?? I swear to you this fool said loudly... "I'm not the idiot out during a pandemic trying to buy a $30 keyboard...!" I don't care what his personal situation is. This entire situation was absolutely ridiculous and dangerous to boot. Dave White, David White, etc. Look up my name, I'm under 4 different address/accounts for different family members, and I have a business account under my tech repair company. I buy an insane amount of tech from your company, and have since day one. Regardless of that YOUR EMPLOYEE OVERLOOKED THE CDC RECOMMENDATIONS CLEARLY AND WITHOUT REGARD FOR MY SAFETY OR THAT OF MY DAUGHTER. I literally stood between him and my kid and couldn't get him to leave us alone. Then once the situation escalated the buddy/employee forgot themselves and got too close too. Even saying sorry once I reminded them repeatedly. Further, I got much louder after being threatened and expected a manager any second. When he arrived he didn't ask what the problem was and simply escorted me from the store. I'll have you know I'm printing masks for people for free, I was there because my desktop keyboard stopped working and I needed it badly to make the mask blanks better with CAD. Everything was closed after that so I had to wait until the next day. Besides that. He shouldn't have gotten so close to us. CDC says 6 feet, he was less than 2. He should have moved once I alerted him to it. The manager should have asked what happened and not demanded the keyboard and walked me and my kid out of the store. That employee was in the wrong and I'm contacting the CDC right now. Absolutely absurd and willfully ignorant. Microcenter is no place for a foolish person. There are far too many intelligent people who have to shop there. Before I continue further to litigation I want someone NOT FROM THE STORE to review the footage of the incident immediately and contact me. The manager didn't do his job. He had his mind made up before speaking to me because I had gotten loud after feeling/being threatened. Picture an angry grown child man, being held back by his larger employee friend. Standing there clenched fists, red faced, and feigning towards us, from behind an employee. Towering over me and my kid. While I tried to shop really quickly. Yeah i asked for a manager, not to have him hold his buddy back who was taunting me....so I spoke up hoping a manager would fix this ridiculous situation. But he did not. Store- Brentwood Mo Employee- Austin M. Date- 4/6/20 Time- 6:45 pm Isle- 8: Keyboards Sincerely, David White
