threatened that computer will crash

3

On November 3rd we received a followup call from a man saying he was the account manager with a company called IYOGI his name Inder and phone number [protected]. Out of breath and very urgent sounding he told me that when I called in several weeks ago to Microsoft for help the tech that took over my computer planted a tracking system to see how well my computer was working, and now he has been advised that my computer is going to CRASH and I will lose all my data. It was very late in the evening but I did run a full scan on my computer and there does not seem to be a problem. I find this threat intimidating, obviously a money scam to buy a protection plan of some sort, and now I am upset to think my computer can be compromised. If anyone is having the same problem I hope that they will address this issue. Thank you.
