I was promised by an ADT installer that I wouldn't be charged a cancellation fee when moving out of my temp rental house. My wife and I were temp living apart and during that time I requested additional ADT services in my new rental house as well. Well 2 years later my wife and I have gotten back together. I was moving back into my first house in which I was already paying for ADT services. They charged me for a cancellation fee anyways. They lied. I lost over $1,300.00 dollars. (Not making this up) While briefly moving back in my old house we've had several complaints about our alarm system going off and have had over 10 hours of waiting on hold for them to try to fix our current ADT problem at our current residence. Our alarm keeps going off. ADT personnel came out twice and still both times our ADT alarm system continues to go off. We have been an ADT member for many many years. Never again. From the quality of the cameras (two of which never worked) ADT phone personnel not listening to you (Just going through some checklist that wasn't working); and the amount of hours being put on hold; I would not recommend ADT to anyone. You'd think they would look at us as respected long term ADT members. Nope... It's all about $$$ for them. I am a very patience and kind person and for me to write this should mean something. Do not sign up for ADT. Trust me. Lesson learned.
