They ripped me off and are rude and refuse to discuss anything

Original review updated by user Dec 03, 2020 I put a photo on Shutterstock on my account "DDT" about 12 or 15 years ago and left it there. I didn't expect it to make even one dollar. Sometime later they sent me a notice that if I wanted to get paid to fill out a US I9 form. Well I wasn't worried about a dollar or two and don't live in the USA so ignored that. Later I found that the photo had earned about $80. It still wasn't worth worrying about immediately and thought I'd get around to cashing in later on. One day later, maybe a year or two, I tried to log in to my Shutterstock account. The website format had changed and I was demanded to provide "government ID" to log in. I sent an email to Shutterstock explaining that I never needed to signup for the account with ID so all they need is my usual pass codes and in return I got rude and intrusive behavior from them. We had a series of email exchanges for about a year and then they deleted my access to my account. My OWN account! And they even told me they had done so! So I have no way of logging in to even see what they are doing to me or removing the photo. I sent them an email demanding my money and revoking my consent allowing them to sell my photo. They have ignored this. They know that they can be taken to Small Claims Court but don't care. They have no customer service. They have no detente or even marketing skills. They don't care one little bit about their founding Contributors. I know they are still selling my photo because it appears in internet searches and comes up on Pinterest. It is the photo I took when I was a cowboy of my co-workers roping a calf. Here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/479000****5133****/ You can still see the Shutterstock watermarks on the photo. So, the issue is that: 1. They have stopped me from accessing my account 2. Refuse to discuss it 2. Shutterstock refuses to pay out at least $US82 to me...the figure is probably a lot more by now. User's recommendation: These people at Shutterstock are recalcitrant Hitlerian *** Do business somewhere else. They act like they think are superior beings.
