I have been with Northtown Lexus through 2 vehicle leases. Prior to getting my 3rd vehicle there they ran my credit report, called a "hard pull" before I ever filled out a credit report. To make matters worse the DEALERSHIP pulled the credit report report twice in the same day. Further injuring my credit report that I have been trying to "heal" my report as my Wife and I deal with $ 200 k worth of medical debt since my Wife's kidney transplant. I have brought this issue to the dealership's attention offering them the opportunity to retract one of the 2 hard credit pulls on the same day (same dealership) but they choose instead to refuse assistance on my part despite the fact that they accessed my private credit information without my approval. So their lack of action has forced me to engage the services of a law firm that specializes in credit disputes and illegal credit transactions undertaken by business. In this day of identity theft and credit theft no one is immune and now i have no idea who has seen my private information and thus further adding to the problem.
