They killed my grandmother
My family had to call 911 while my grandma was a patient there, just so we can get her out of there and treated somewhere else. My grandma was dying and they did nothing, she had pneumonia and wasn't being treated for it, and she caught the flu from that facility because she tested positive in the emergency room that she was transferred to. She passed away a week later from complications of the flu, which we kept telling Kindred that their was something terribly wrong with my grandma but they failed to do anything about. She was given medications she was allergic to, and then was given the same medication again on another shift because there communication during shift change is so poor. They did not answer call bells, and when you go up to someone to ask a question about your loved one, they are so rude, they will either ignore you, or answer you back with an attitude. Half of the staff did not speak proper English so it was very hard to understand what they were saying. If we did not have a family member there at all times, they would have killed my grandma when she first arrived there because of all the medical mistakes they almost made that we caught before it happened, near misses. I work in a healthcare facility and I don't understand why this place is still operating, it should be shut down immediately for multiple violations that I witnessed. The mortality rate at this facility is horrific, if you care about your loved ones, please don't send them to this hospital.
