I filed a claim back in the middle of July we are already entering September and still nothing with my short term disability. Now I had to ask for Forms to go do the footwork that they should be doing. It is really easy for them to receive money from my paycheck but when its vice versa they don't want to pay you. My sister has Aflac and they pay you! Unlike METLIFE. I have been out of work for some time and my employer told me to file a claim with them. No one from METLIFE has ever tried to help or even tried to call me. It was basically me calling them every two weeks and they do not even know what to say. It is all *** I am doing their job for them. I even called and asked to send me the form so I can get them filled out since apparently they never get a response from my Dr.s office.
