I am attempting to get a second hip surgery. I live in debilitating pain and am required to get assistance to put on my own shoes and socks. When standing up from a seated position I have to physically pop my hip back in place in order to walk. Stairs and uneven ground is challenging for me and yet I'm being told from this company that my needs are not medically necessary! The company denied my first surgery right up until the day prior. They are now denying the other hip despite overwhelming medical evidence and doctor opinions stating all other means have been exhausted aside from surgery. Im now less than a week away from a strategic scheduled surgery that will allow me to miss minimal days of work. Spent a great deal of time on the phone and still no resolve. How can any company survive with this type of unethical deceptive process. If you have a choice, pick another company. High deductibles, high prices and plenty of denied claims. I personally know others that are fighting the same issue with this company. Compare reviews and price carefully before choosing this company as your health provider. Extremely unsatisfied.
