Regina Clayton a long time customer of many of your branches in Washington State. Earlier this month she entered into the kent branch to cash a check near the sum of $4000 only to be told by a branch employee that she herself had already cashed that check at the Buruen location about twenty to thirty minutes prior. Understandably confused and upset she asked that they contact Burien to have them fax over the I.d of the person claiming to be her. Upon request the Kent branch did and quickly discovered that indeed the woman who had cashed the check was not Regina Clayton. The branch employees showed Miss Clayton the photo I.d at which point Miss Clayton informed them that she may know the person who fraudulently cashed the check and would like to know the next steps to take since money tree had cashed check written out to her to a person whom was not her and would like the money returned to her and promptly . At this point she was told that because she knew the woman in the photo I.d she could only take it to small claims court that Moneytree could do and would not be able to assist her any further. She has since contacted both branches with no luck. She has and will continue to post this on every review site, bbb, and social media site until Moneytree steps up to their actions and takes responsibility and offers a course of action leading to not only the wrong doing but mistreatment of Miss Clayton and finally the money returned to her.
