They bill you for money you do not owe

I signed up for a free trial. However I never got confirmation that the sign-up went through, so I assumed it did not. (The browser froze and so the sign-up appeared not to work.) I NEVER USED THE SERVICE, NOT EVEN ONCE! Later I received a 0-30 Days Past Due notice in my email box. I immediately called them but could not get through. That was 2 months ago. Since then I have spent over an hour holding online, talking to Billing, talking to chat but the bottom line is they all have told me I have to talk to the mysterious collections dept which they will not give me a direct line to. So ever time I call I have to go through menu hell, waiting, and then just get a mailbox to leave a message. Each time I leave my phone number, name, account number and email address and BEG them to call me. THEY NEVER CALL ME. NOT ONCE. And my answering machine is 100% reliable, I never miss any calls. So I am sure by now this has gone to collections, is being reported on my credit bureau report, and so on, all for $10 THAT I DO NOT EVEN OWE! And yet NO ONE will call me and I can never get through to anyone at the other end. I am angry, I am frustrated, and I will take this to every consumer agency I have to in order to get this taken care of. No one should ever sign up with this company!
