I tried after a year of making payments to pay this car off, they acted upset that I wanted to pay it off. After that my husband decided to use the cash to buy me a brand new Nissan. We continue making payments, but I was 2 days late for the first time because I had things going on and was subjected to interrogation when I went to make the payment. I told her I didn't need the car, if she wanted to make me feel uncomfortable coming to make the payment, I wouldn't come back there, she could come get the car. I was given a look that could kill at that point. I told her to have a great day and I left. I'm really not sure my credit is worth caring about at this point.
