these are awful people to work with

I have been a customer of lane bryant but as of today I am going to close out my account and I am encouraging everyone else not to do business with that store. I recently purchase some tops there and I developed an allergy to the blouses that were rayon. I ws told by a very nice clerk at the westshore mall on 12/5/2012, that if I returned the blouses she would allow me to have ones that were made of cotton or polyester. I picked out some of the blouses and had them on hold. Once I returned the next day, the story changed 100%! I was told that the clerk who saw me the night before was not a regular clerk at the store. What is that suppose to mean? She would have to discuss it with her manager. I was told that it would be under advisement the day before. I asked to have the exchange that the other clerk said I could have and it wasn’t honored. I called the customer service department and I see that there are over 100 complaints on lane bryant! It is apparent to me that they dont care and the main office now told me I had to have the receipt. I could not locate the receipt but since it was on the charge they were able to pull it with no problems. I will never do business with them before since I have returned items to Jc Penneys and other stores and they have been willing to assist me and even refund me! These are awful people to work with!
