There’s something wrong with my DVD player

My DVD player will not play a movie it says with the movie inserted this is what it says youre a BD player does not seem to have a properly configured Internet connection which allows features such as BD live and software update notification I never knew I had to be hooked to a Internet to play a DVD on my DVD player I hope this makes sense
