So all passenger know about China Eastern's unprofessional service. I am writing this to alert passenger before you dare to buy ticket from China Eastern Airline. Me and my wife were traveling from Winnipeg to Dhaka via Vancouver International Airport, Canada. We have paid $2170.98 for return tickets. We fly with west jet from Winnipeg to Vancouver and we were suppose to have flight to Pudong International (PVG) Shanghai, China from Vancouver. Before boarding start at 1:00 am Vancouver time I was called by airline stuff and told me that I can not fly with them because I have Bangladeshi passport. And the told me the reason that China government will not provide visa more that 24 hours. However, they did not let us fly on that flight and left us with no hope to fly with them even on the next flight. They have not provided us any shelter, no food. On the counter supervisor promised us to give next day flight with no cost but that did not happen because that supervisor did not leave any note for next member. We stayed whole day at the airport like homeless. There were no stuff member on their counter all day. After 4 pm next day stuff member came and asked me $2222 to pay if we like to travel on the same ticket. I have argue why should I pay $2222 dollar extra for the same tickets. Anyway, they denied that it was not their mistake. Before the next day flight I have been charged extra $2222 to fly with them because they left no choice for us. My dad was sick back home and I was worried about that. I did not have any airline member who could help. I felt very helpless as most of them don't really understand English. This is the worst airline I have ever travel with. I promise myself not to travel with them. They don't know how to fix issue if anything happen. China Eastern has no customer service experience. So, if you are reading this comment you are thinking to buy air ticket from China Eastern please stay away. Even if you have Canadian , USA or British passport you will have the worst experience in your life. Stay away from them. They are greedy and never think about passenger's satisfaction.
