The poor quality of the leather for Men’s Shoulder Bag

I purchased the men's shoulder bag at Macys in downtown LA about 18 months ago,and I keep this bag inside the flannel bag and I keep this bag inside the box and put in my closet. I really rare to use this bag,when I want to use it I noticed the leather damaged bit by bit because of the bad quality of the leather. Kindly tell me what I should do,Thank you so much. If I am not mistaken the price of this Bag was USD 60.00 plus tax
