I visited the Dillard’s in Uptown Village in Cedar Hill, Texas on July 20, 2018. I wanted to purchase a lipstick and to my surprise they had the color “Please me, I told the makeup clerk I wanted the lipstick and the gloss to match and I chose another color by the name of “Chatterbox”. Upon my check out I was told the gloss of “Please Me” was not in stock so I only chose “Please Me” for purchasing. Got home and the following day, I wanted to my new lip color but it was a epic fail! Today, August 19, 2018, I returned the lipstick for an exchange and was treated like I made the yellow upc sticker that was attached to the Mac product! I was told the upc number on the box did not match my receipt! I was sent upstairs to customer service and had to speak to the manager on duty who was stuck on the fact the Mac counter was right and the upc number did not match the product! I was told “ the product was used and their was nothing to be done” I had to pay full price for the other Mac product I wanted and keep the “Chattrrbox” that I cannot use! What happened to customer service and if the receipt that I had does not match the product, then something had to transpose during the purchase! In case it is not clear, the Mac makeup clerk charged me for the wrong product after the “Please Me” gloss was not available! Word to the wise, check your receipt before you leave the Mac counter to ensure your UPC code matches your receipt!! Or just go to the Dillard’s in the Parks Mall in Arlington, Texas because I have never had this issue until I tried to shop closer to home! Now I know the drive is worth the CustomerService!!
